Bend, Oregon Pro Nostalgia Dragster An unfortunate fire left this nostalgia front engine dragster in need of some updating. Staying in a traditional style the body was first sprayed in a deep blue firemist basecoat and then adorned with all hand drawn and painted gold leaf lettering with tangerine candy fades, drop shadows and bold blue outlines. I was called in to add the final details including spun silver leaf race numbers, lettering and outline pinstriping in red, gray, and black House of Color urethane. Overkill 1929 Buick drag rod built by Meticulous Metalworks Redmond, OR '29 Buick seaweed flames A wild dragrod featuring complete hand fabrication of every element from the chassis to the top of the wild supercharged big block Ford by Matt Cook at Meticulous Metal works. Flames were laid out in a radical 60's seaweed style and sprayed in pagan gold over red metal flake. Hand pinstriping in custom mix House of Kolor urethane buried under several coats of candy complete the erratic yet subtle monochromatic scheme. Back to Portfolio

Vintage sprint car race graphics hand painted restoration 60's Sprint Car This project was brought to me with no prior identification other than vintage photo history. All lettering was approximated and hand drawn to replicate its former dress. As some of the photo's attest, some of it was most likely done hastily to get it on the track. I cleaned up the letter styles and repainted it to look its best as it will live out its years as a museum piece/cackle car to showcase the glory days of sprint racing. Antique safe restoration, hand lettering, pinstriping. Bend, Or 1879 Diebold Safe Early American craftsmen really took pride in the products they created and vintage Safe's are no exception. Adorned with highly ornate striping and lettering this safe was brought to me in need of restoration and update with the current owners ideals in mind. It features gold leaf work, hand striping, lettering and a hand painted mural depicting the grueling trek over Chilkoot pass to the gold fields of Kodiak, Alaska. Back to Portfolio
